Come What May And Love It

It always amazes me how personal the death of one of the Brethren feels.
What a treasure this lovely man is!

Thanks for putting these nice "extras" on your blog for those of us who would miss out on them otherwise.

I was sorry to hear of his passing, knowing I would miss his conference talks. His last message was one of my favorites. I loved his humor and goodness. I am glad he is home with his wife now. What a happier place the spirit world will be with him there!

I re-read this talk last night too! I just loved the message and it is definitely one of my favorites.

Thanks for this sweet tribute, Jen. You have no idea how badly I needed it today. Put your trust in the Lord and do your best - and leave the rest to him. Thank you.

I love all the bretheren so much, but I have always had a special place in my heart for elder Wirthlin. I feel so blessed to have been able to hear his words so many times and that last talk that he gave will always be one of my favorites. It always brings me comfort when I need it.
