Blind Date?

Believe it or not, I have had very few blind dates in my life. I think I can count them on one hand. Perhaps on 3 fingers? AND they have all gone quite well. (The last one lasted over a year.) But I have to say that tonight's was definitely the most unique. You see, my new friend and I are fellow bloggers, introduced by our common friend, Cara. Turns out that my new friend Marie and I have more in common than we possibly could have imagined! (Beyond her being Cara's visiting teacher, being single, living in the same neighborhood, having a zillion people in common, being in the same singles ward at one time, etc. etc.)

Okay, so she's a girl and we won't be dating but it is so fun to meet a blogging friend that lives so close and loves so many of the same things that I love.

We rode our bikes to the movie and pretended that our moms wouldn't drive us so we had to ride instead. THAT was hilarious. AND we saw the cutest movie I've seen in a LONG, LONG time... Dan in Real Life. It was great to see Michael in such a charming role. Who knew?

We've agreed that we are going to go practice helping people at the book store, waiting for the perfect man to come along and need our assistance.

Just imagine all the possibilities in this fun new friendship? (Sorry if you haven't seen the movie and have no clue what I'm talking about!) It's great to have a new girl friend and someone to go play with. NOW for the rest of you, feel free to introduce me to your fun cute friends that I have so much in common with. Especially the MALE kind.
